What are you doing for Thanksgiving? Do you have any traditions? Go in to detail about your plans for the 5 day weekend.

For Thanksgiving i'm going to a friends house to stuff my face with food. I will most likely hang out with them for a couple days and call grandparents and relatives wishing them a happy thanksgiving. I might also receive a couple cards with some mula in it. Other than that, not much else will happen.

Reflecting on the comments and grade of your stop-motion animation... what you would do differently if you had to do it all over again? Would you manage your time better? Find better lighting for your photos? Come up with a better idea? Explain what you would change about your video.

If I could improve anything with my video, I would probably add a better start slide and finish slide. I feel happy with my grade and my finished product. Some other things that could improve my video would be to focus on the pictures, not change clothes mid story, add a little something to make it a story and it could help if I had the idea a bit sooner.

Well, with my stop-motion pictures I had to take so many and i hope they turn out alright. I had to move the camera to different places so I could take the pictures correctly.

I have one main idea of me riding a broom around the school and just having fun. I will have a partner take photos on a textbook with a mono pod, to keep it steady. My idea has been done before but that's only because i found out that my other ideas would've been a technology feat.

What is stop motion animation? If you don't know, look it up! Explain.

A stop motion animation is the use of puppets or clay figures put in different ways to make it seem like they have been moving in different scenes. Basically, clay figures that are moved around while taking pictures at different times to make a movie.

Tell me about your idea for your 5 frame story board. What is the plot? How do you plan to make the story creative? Who's the main character? What is the beginning, middle and end? Tell me about your plan of attack.

My board is going to be of my normal day in school. It will be minimized since i'm allowed only to use 5 slides but i will try to provoke my idea through those slides. I will try to include some creativity but make sure that it meets the requirements.

Yesterday you edited and uploaded photos to your blog. Tell me more about your photos. HOW did you edit them? Why did you choose the photos that you did? Explain your assignment.

I chose my photos because i feel that they were the best photos of the bunch. With the Photoshop tool, i added some better lighting and quality. I feel that my photos have been improved and now look better. I'm satisfied with my work.

This weekend I went to a friends house. I also had a friend come over and hang out for a while. I also watched some TV. That's about it.

What do you know about photography and/or photo editing? Do you take photos? How do you take photos? Do you edit photos before posting them on social media? How do you edit them? Explain any background or knowledge you have about photography and photo editing. Do you like it? Do you have any interest?

When I take pictures, I don't use any filters because I don't waste my time caring about how a picture looks. I do take photos but don't really care to make them look better by adding a filter. I don't own a camera other than my phone and I don't know how to Photoshop stuff.

This weekend I went to the football game on Friday and that was about the highlight of my weekend. I also went to the movie theater to see Alexander and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. It was a funny movie but it was also uncomfortable because some kid next to us threw up... It was disgusting to say the least. Either way I still had a good weekend and cant wait till the next one.

Below is a letter written to the editor who wrote the article 'Enforcement of dress code creates negative effect' that your blogged about last week. Most of you wrote on your blog that you agreed with the writer. What are your thoughts after reading the letter below and seeing a different perspective. Are they the same? Are the different? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.

After reading this I can agree with her and her understanding of the issue. It's not the girls fault for wearing their clothes, its just the guys fault for not being able to focus. She has a perfect point, if girls buy the clothes they like then they should be able to wear them.

 My version of a perfect curriculum would be teaching us math, English, science. The rest wont necessarily accelerate us in life. Although there are other things that people would take to become better in one subject, I feel we shouldn't be required to take those classes. Right now in our modern day, you have to take a certain amount of classes to get points for different categories. Eating and sleeping is a necessity also. Maybe the school system could introduce a longer lunch period and more choices of food.

Well, as a boy in high school, I don't have to worry about the dress code as much as the girls. I understand that girls wear what they want, and how the administrators can misconstrue that as a distraction for us guys but it isn't. The reason guys get distracted is because of the lack of focus, not what some innocent girl is wearing. Now, if i was a girl i might wear those clothes to maybe get a compliment or attention of someone. Wearing clothes like that doesn't only effect boys but it could also effect girls. it effect girls i the way as to wondering where they bought it or how'd they look in it. Of course it affects guys more but only because its or fault. I'm not saying that girls should be allowed to where whatever but its not their fault. The distraction of guys is by our own doing. Girls should be allowed to where what is appropriate but the school should restrain there rules a little about how girls dress and the codes and regulations on what to where. If you didn't want girls wearing what they're wearing then have us wear uniforms. But as a public school, the rules might not fully oblige. Keep some rules but also remove some for the reasons being.

This weekend was great because the Royals won the game against the Angels to advance into the ALCS! I went to the game with a friend and my family and we tailgated before and after. During some parts of the game, the rain was nearly going sideways into my sections face yet the Royals were doing so good that all of the fans stayed standing up and cheering. The temperature dropped down to about 50 degrees but luckily I brought a jacket. Good job Royals for protecting the palace and good luck in the ALCS! GO ROYALS!!!

What is an infographic? If you don't know, go look it up. Read about it and then in your own words tell me what an infographic is. What do infographics do? How do they work? What makes a really good infographic?

An inphographic is a graph that is a visual image to represent data and information. An infographic can be used to show someone a literal comparison of  data. Really good infographs are made by having similarly close data ranges and easy to compare.

For home coming I went with about 14 girls and 5 other guys to eat at Blue Hills Country Club. My date was Grace Marqouardt in the picture below. We also went to the dance and had a great time!

Imagine Mr. Bacon has asked you to suggest one way of improving Blue Valley High School to make it a better place for students. Think about the changes that are needed at your school. Pick one change you feel would really make a difference and explain what it is and why you'd make the change.

I would make the change that every student is allowed to use their phones for learning or buy us educational iPad's. If the school can't afford iPad's then we should be allowed to use our phones.

What is email? When do you use email in your own personal life? List reasons and ways that people use email. What do you know about "email etiquette"?

Email is a way to talk to other people over the internet semi-safely without having to go through the hassle of mailing handwritten mail and sending it. I use email mainly to talk to old teachers and distant relatives that don't know how to work anything other than email and certain Facebook games. 

I think that email is almost dying with all of the possibilities of calling and texting nowadays.

I think that all of the tools that we've used so far this school year are helpful in one way or another. I think they would be more helpful if they all had apps that we could use on our phones. Becuase we all use our phones a lot.

I don't like writing because it cramps up my hand and lead smears all over the place. If I could type over writing, I would. Plus typing is a lot easier than cramping your hand and having messy handwriting and a dirty hand.

In this quote Ben Franklin is saying that if you don't prepare then you cant succeed to the most. This has happened to me before when I didn't study for a test and didn't get what I wanted but it was all my fault because I was probably presented with multiple chances to avoid that. This also happens a lot in daily life. Some examples would be if some random person had a job and had to work the next day, they would have to prepare for the next day by setting an alarm more than likely. Another example could be of a student who is running late for school but only because they woke up late. That is why this quote from Ben Franklin is absolutely true and relevant.

This weekend  I went paint balling for the first time and got shot twice. I also beat my sister in fantasy football by only 10 points! Although I did a lot this weekend I was pretty tired all the time for some reason so therefore i slept on Sunday for like 12 straight hours. I enjoyed my sleep because I got so much of it, but i'm still very tired. On Sunday morning while i was sleeping my mom got Kripsy Kreme Pumpkin Spice donuts and they sounded bad over the phone yet they're all gone today. Lets just say i ate like 10 donuts and she had 2 dozen.

What is the importance of research? Why do you need to know how to research? What have you learned in high school about researching topics and finding quality resources? Have you had a helpful teacher that has taught you to research? Explain.

Research is important because without learning to research in an efficient manner, it would be very difficult to learn new things and set up a study guide for yourself in college. Research also allows us to search the web for info on the past and things that we don't know about. I've been tought very well how to research from a couple teachers.
